Inspired by true events. Late in the evening during a routine lock up, the caretaker (Lloyd) finds Maya and her two children living in the boiler room of the swimming centre. Faced with a language barrier and no other options, he allows them to stay.

 

After-hours; the only freedom they have is within the walls of the swimming centre where Maya teaches her children to face their fears of deep water. One night becomes two. Maya questions what the future holds for her children as she is left to decide whether to continue making the most improbable place, a home.
