WARM

Inspired by true events. This story is told almost entirely inside a swimming centre, through the eyes of Maya and her two children - who are refugees. Late in the evening during a routine lock up, the caretaker (Lloyd) finds them living in the boiler room. Left with no other options, he allows them to stay overnight.

After-hours; the only freedom they have is within the walls of the swimming centre at night where Maya teaches her children to face their fears of deep water. One night becomes two. Maya questions what the future holds for her children as she is left to decide whether to continue making the most improbable place, a home.
